This is one of my favorite views of Huntsville Dam. This is a natural made reservoir that supplies much of the water to the town. People do not have access to it, although I do know that on rare occasions they have snuck in. On this side I think it is the only area where you get a clear view of the water, the rest is surround by trees. This spot has always been clear and when we have very rainy weather the water almost touches the road. The road is paved now and there are a few houses on the opposite side--building is prohibited on the water side--but the view hasn't changed since I've been coming here.
