Celebrate

Of course I'm doing a list. It's New Year's, right?
I don't do resolutions--why set yourself up for failure. This one is more of a "to do" list. A to do list for life. If they don't all get done this year that's OK. Some will, some won't. My hope is that most do.

In no particular order (just the way they came to me):

lose weight (get healthy, eat right, exercise more)
sell more art (and paint more)
finish my novel (write more)
find an agent
get a publishing deal
attend a writer's conference
become more active in community
establish more art and writing contacts
visit Arts YOUniverse (art mansion)
travel more
--go to NYC
--go to Paris
--the shore
--Florida
get my passport
write travel articles focusing on ghost stories and the super natural
find more ghost stories from this area
Write and publish a ghost stories book
possibly move to a larger house or add on to my house
save more money
ski
ice skate
go dancing
take dance lessons
take art lessons (mosaic)
finish the "unfinished" rooms in the house
find and contact (!!) places to exhibit my artwork
--the library
--restaurants
--galleries
drive cross country
meet my online friends in person
contact people from my past
be a better friend (maintain friendships)
go out more
do more things (live more, have more fun)
buy a digital SLR camera
to work full time as a writer and artist
to be paid to travel (I would love to be a travel writer who specializes in writing about haunted places.)
to live debt free
to have enough money to put my children through college (and not be swamped with loans when they're done)
to finish college
to own a Victorian house
to live by the ocean
open a bookstore/coffee shop
meet Oprah
fly in a hot air balloon
see the Grand Canyon
visit Alaska and Hawaii (heck, visit all 50 states -- I'm at 30 something now)
a dock for our boat (rent or own)
be a calmer quieter person (I'm loud and I don't like it)
to be more patient
to act in a play

This is not the end...it's just where I finished at the moment. I know this list will grow and grow.

Happy New Year!
